I’ve reconnected with some friends I’d lost touch with.
One of them called me out of the blue last summer. Now we're on the same team, and she's introduced me to a whole new team of friends.
I randomly texted a couple of college roomies last November.
We planned a trip to Arizona through text that night.
All of these friends have helped me through some stuff.
And I think I've helped them too.
We actually TALK on these hand-held computer thingies we all have.
It's nice feeling connected to people who REALLY know me and all of my history.
Loneliness is real and I felt it big time over the last 15 years. Okay 20.
I need friends I can talk to about ANYTHING without any judgy-pants comments.
