If there were ever a weekend to not do a long run, this was definitely a good one if you live in Minneapolis. Mark and I started a long run about 10:45 am. A crazy 1:45 + later I rolled through the finish. I was secretly hoping Mark would get worried and come pick me up. The weather just killed me. Felt pretty wretched the whole route and had to walk a fair amount of it. It was really humid and rained for about half the run, and then the sun came out, which was even worse. There were people and about a zillion kids everywhere out for a bike event, forcing me to run in the mud to get around them and their flailing umbrellas. Insert audio of me growling & swearing here. I even yelled at a guy who didn't stop for me in a crosswalk. Very unlike me. Normally I just curse people out in my head. Can you say cranky? Oh well. I know I shouldn't complain so much. I just really can't wait for fall to actually arrive. I am glad I got a long, hilly run/walk in for the week. I got a
